:[[User:Arunram|Arun]], let me explain the background for this opportunity. I was interested in meeting the participants of this event for an hour during the camp. But, I was told that men are not allowed :) Instead, they offered a seat for a female representative from WMIN. Even our representative will have to pass through their [http://bangalore.adacamp.org/how-we-select-attendees/ regular selection process]. This is a very stringent process, I guess, as many regular applications have been rejected. I should also add that ' ''many of our active members like Netha, Rohini, Pavithra and one more chapter member called Nappinai from Chennai have already been approved to participate in the camp''' through their regular selection process. So, we will be having enough representation from WMIN. I see this as a beginning of good long standing relationship between other entities like Adacamp and WMIN. So, it will be good to stick with one representative this time. Based on her performance, they might be interested in giving us more seats in future. --[[User:Ravidreams|Ravi]] 10:55, 30 October 2014 (IST)

More nominations

Ravi can we look at sending at least one or two more nominations from the chapter for this event. We have 31 members from 10 cities. This may help get some of them engaged more. I feel this is an opportunity we should not miss. Could you please discuss with EC? Arunram 09:41, 30 October 2014 (IST)

Arun, let me explain the background for this opportunity. I was interested in meeting the participants of this event for an hour during the camp. But, I was told that men are not allowed :) Instead, they offered a seat for a female representative from WMIN. Even our representative will have to pass through their regular selection process. This is a very stringent process, I guess, as many regular applications have been rejected. I should also add that ' many of our active members like Netha, Rohini, Pavithra and one more chapter member called Nappinai from Chennai have already been approved to participate in the camp' through their regular selection process. So, we will be having enough representation from WMIN. I see this as a beginning of good long standing relationship between other entities like Adacamp and WMIN. So, it will be good to stick with one representative this time. Based on her performance, they might be interested in giving us more seats in future. --Ravi 10:55, 30 October 2014 (IST)
