Jayanta Nath is a Civil Engineering professional based in Kolkata. He started his contributions to Wikimedia / Wikimedia in 2006 as an anonymous editor and registered his username in 2007. Active contributor and Administrator in Bengali Wikimedia projects. Actively involved in Wikipedia activities based out of Kolkata. He have been active in running Kolkata meetups every month for wikipedians along with a core team of wikipedians. His interest is in organising Wikipedian efforts and in outreach. There is a whole lot of outreach work to be done for Indian language wikipedias. In other hand he co-activist of Foss movement in West Bengal through Free Software Foundation and Free Software Foundation of India and West Bengal Free Software Mancha.
He was elected to the Wikimedia India Executive Committee in September 2013 , and currently serves as Secretary.
Sanket is a prominent student leader who was elected as president to represent State of Rajasthan at Indian Student Parliament. There he was responsible for politically sensitive & high profile grant making, student affairs & government relations.
Sanket's vision at Wikimedia India is dedicated in creating more awareness about Wikimedia related projects by expanding the Indian Wikipedians base & to greater engagement with the community at large. In his current role , his specific focus is to help the chapter with 12A registration & getting 80G status. He believes that his exposure in the field of Accounting & Taxation Laws combined with his exposure on Wiki Projects will help the Wikimedia India Chapter in finance & legal related matters.
Outside of Wikimedia, Mr Sanket has worked in public finance & research. He also has 3 years of experience in Taxation Laws and has served on an array of advisor, both non-profit & for-profit organizations. His ongoing interest includes Open Source Polices in Government, Access to Free Knowledge in rural India, educational inequity & educational politics.
He says that his long run vision is to remove the word 'illiterate' from the history of Indian civilization by eradicating information poverty through digital interventions.
He was elected to the Wikimedia India Executive Committee and currently serves as Treasurer.
Yohann Thomas is a Mechanical Engineer, currently pursuing MBA from Symbiosis, Pune.
He developed a keen interest in Wikipedia after being amazed on how in 2008 the Mumbai Attack Article constantly evolved as the attack progressed. Since then he has been contributing to English Wikipedia. He had his first exposure to the Pune Community in 2012 at Wikipedia Takes Pune and ever since he has been an Active Pune Community Member. He has been a Chapter Member since 2013.He successfully organized the Wikipedia Workshop Pune in January 2014 which was part of the Wikipedia Anniversary Celebrations.
He is Passionate about building strong local communities, which the very foundation of the India Chapter is built on.
He was elected to the Wikimedia India Executive Committee in November 2014 , and currently serves as Member.
Priyanka Tiwari is a software engineer by profession. Maintaining equilibrium with different technical fields, she has aligned her fields of interests with cloud security, communications etc. finally culminating into advanced technical business automations.
She has lived in various parts of India with a vast mixture of cultures and communities. She has been actively involved in outreach programs including Wikipedia Summit 2013 and helps to conduct meetups and various awareness programs in Pune. Her interests include increasing women participation in Wikipedia and GLAM projects.

Dr. Ekbal Bappukunju
Dr. Ekbal Bappukkunju is an eminent figure from Kerala. Emerged from a long medical and academic career as an acclaimed neurosurgeon, he has been the Vice Chancellor of Kerala University, A member of the State Planning Board, Kerala Sastra Sahithya Parishath and several other distinguished positions at various points of time. He has been one of the spearheading activists particularly in Kerala and in India at large, in pursuit of free software, open knowledge and Internet freedom. Nikhil Kawale is a young and aspiring Computer Engineer, currently pursuing MBA from Welingkar, Bangalore.
A prominent representative of the student Wikimedia community from Pune, he developed a keen interest in Wikipedia by contributing his photography skills on Wikimedia Commons,since 2009 he is contributing for the same.His vision is to create awareness about Wikimedia related projects by expanding Wikimedia India.
Outside of Wikimedia, Mr. Nikhil is a passionate photographer and has done freelancing as a Fashion photographer. He is currently into social media marketing and strategizing how social media can help in achieving the vision and mission of Wikimedia India.
