works as an Assistant Professor at Fr Agnel College of Arts and Commerce, Pillar Goa. He writes Wikipedia articles about languages, literature and folklore. His first article was about Konkani Drama. He joined Wikipedia in 2013. Currently, he is an ambassador of Konkani Wikipedia. He has created more than 60 articles. He also contributes photographs to Wikimedia commons. He has won Konkani Wikipedian of the month competition twice. He was introduced to this project by Dr Madhavisardessai, Associate Professor at Goa University. He says,"Madam, you gave me a dream and I will make your dream come true". He has done Konkani Wikipedia workshop in many colleges. He also does one-on-one workshops and till date has brought almost 50 editiors to Konkani Wikipedia. Now, he is all set to make Konkani Wikipedia live.

is a doctor from Bhubaneswar, Odisha. He started editing Wikipedia from July 2012. The sentence ‘anybody can edit’ encouraged him to edit Wikipedia. He started with the edit of an unfinished article ‘Malaria’.
Since then, he has edited 114 medical articles, 5 biographic articles, 10 miscellaneous articles in Wikipedia to a total of 129 articles. Under the heading Lilabati daughters he has further edited 23 articles. Besides he has edited 3 complete books in Wikisource. He has tried his hand at the contribution to Commons and Odia Wikitionary. He has also edited (the translated versions) 104 poems and 34 Dohas by Sant Kabir, 23 poems by Haribans Rai Bacchan which are in incubator. At present he is busy editing one article daily out of 50 medical articles.
From the date of his induction in Wikipedia he has attended and participated in all outreach activities of Odia Wikipedia community. He has got an invitation from Dr. James Heilman to write for the Medical translation task force compiled by him and became TRANSLATOR WITHOUT BORDER. He received Odisha Youth Icon award, a living legend award by OdishaDiary.com from minister Mr. Badri Patra on behalf of Odia Wikipedia Community. He served as Asst. Professor in K.I.M.S. Medical college, Bhubaneswar. His spirit, undefeated by age, has set an ambition to deliver free knowledge content besides health service to each human being as long as he lives.

has been involved with Marathi Wikipedia almost from the inception, first as a reader, then an occasional editor on English Wikipedia. Abhay made his first edit on Marathi Wikipedia around November 2005
and not looked back since. He likes editing articles on any and all topics, enriching his own knowledge in the process. Even so, areas of his special interest are World History and Transportation. After a few years of editing, he took up the admin role there followed by the bureaucrat role. He has more than 87,000 edits
there. Abhay has been instrumental in grooming new editors and curating the content on Marathi Wikipedia. Abhay is involved with every aspect of Marathi Wikipedia both online and offline. He has traveled across the world to attend various meetups, consultations and other opportunities. He pioneered bot use there and many other technical and procedural innovations. He hopes and plans on continuing enriching Marathi Wikipedia for the foreseeable future, both online and offline. Outside of spending an inordinate amount of time on Marathi Wikipedia, Abhay spends his leisure time skiing the Rockies in winter and playing club cricket in the summer.
